Friday Jul 01, 2016
How many suffering human beings have agonizingly cried out: “Why doesn’t God do something?” BILLIONS! Good news—He has! J-E-S-U-S. It is Jesus, the “image of God,” who vividly portrays the heart, nature, character, and love of the invisible God.
One thing Jesus did for many people was end their sickness, suffering, and death, although, as with Lazarus, it was only temporary. One day there will be no sickness, suffering, or death. God also gave us Previews of His impending Judgment: the Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Red Sea—showing us that one day all wicked people will be righteously judged and righteously destroyed. That is because True Love requires True Justice, and True Justice requires True Judgment.
This exciting teaching will address such questions as Why didn’t God destroy Satan when he rebelled and Why did God give mankind genuine free will? And, if you have not read Habakkuk lately, tune in, as that is one of the sections we will cover. See you Wednesday evening!
